London πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Royal Horse Guards

The Royal Horse Guards in Hyde Park

What a difference a day makes. Today we returned to more typical London weather. The day started a bit rainy, and the temperature was much cooler; the high was a very pleasant 24 degrees Celsius.

Annette & I have really enjoyed London and are so happy we came back for another visit. Tomorrow we take a train to Southampton to get on another Princess cruise. We found it to be less expensive to book a 14-day cruise around the British Isles, especially since we used our Chase CC Points to fully pay for this cruise.

London has become one of our favorite cities. If staying here were not so expensive, we would stay longer. However, if we stayed much longer, I would have to sell a kidney on the black market!

We have experienced some magical moments while exploring London. Today was one of those. We decided to take another walk through Hyde Park after our morning coffee and came across the Royal Horse Guards riding through the park for what I assumed were drills. We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy watching this small detail work with the horses and watching the instructor work was so enjoyable.

Having the time to just walk and enjoy this lovely city has created wonderful memories. We look forward to returning and exploring even more.

Until Next Time…
